A subscription is not required to use the Hydrow, but having a subscription is an integral part of the Hydrow experience. Without a subscription, the rower will operate in Just Row mode and have limited functionality.
The Hydrow membership enables access to the majority of the machine's functions, including multiple user profiles, daily live workouts, on-demand rowing workouts, On The Mat fitness content, and a community of fellow rowers. Each Hydrow machine can have as many profiles as desired, with only one paid membership required per machine. Stats and progress for each profile are saved independently.
The Hydrow Wave Rowing Machine is compatible with most Bluetooth headphones, hearing-aids, and speakers, as it is 5.0 Bluetooth-enabled. In-home assembly is available for purchase, although the machine can also be assembled by the user.
